Scream or Screen?

 

Here's a cool video recorded at the Willowby House, upstate NY. In the video you see the homeowner (and all around great guy, Artie) getting ready to lock up the house for an hour of recording while the house is empty. Right after Artie speaks you will hear what sounds like a faint scream. Now, there aren't any other homes close enough to have any noise picked up on this particular camera microphone. But look closely. Watch the timing of the scream and the reflection of the screen door closing. The next time we were up there we were able to check out the screen door and, you guessed it. The piston of the screen door that controls the speed at which the door closes makes a noise that sounds just like a scream.
